The History
Since I was a young girl I've been interested in the arts and couldn't help but pursue Art & Design in college. In 2005 I earned my BFA in Studio Art with a Painting Specialization from Texas State University. Coming from a long line of artisans and small business owners I dreamed of owning my own business one day. Born and raised in New Braunfels, Texas, the local family businesses included a wide range of talent and interests. Among those were professional seamstress and quilter, cake decorator, and wood worker, with businesses in the auto service industry, house painting, and insurance sales. The history, the legacy, the passing down of artistic talents and an entrepreneurial mindset over generations is why I chose to use my given name for the business. I am in fact a Foote now!

The Vision
The number one goal at DeStefano Design is to reflect our clients' unique personalities in the designs and decor we curate. Extra time is spent exploring the homeowner's vision, lifestyle, and needs before visualization aids are introduced in hopes that YOUR vision, not ours, shines through. Classical training in the arts provides an advanced understanding of composition and color as your home becomes the artist's canvas. The approach and process, though not main stream, is designed to discover your likes and dislikes, but more importantly what your soul needs to thrive in your cherished dwelling. Our mission is to orchestrate spaces in your home that encourage human interaction and creative exploration, making the distraction of turning to technology for entertainment way less appealing. Supporting mental health, strengthening the family unit and providing exceptional customer service are the heart of DeStefano Design.
